How to make Fitness Videos
I love what fitness trainer/video producer Sarah Dussault is doing with her Videos. Check out the example above, it ticks along nicely and holds your attention.
Sarah wrote to me:
“Hi Jules, for this Video I used a Sony HVR z1U and used two wireless mics that were plugged into the camera. The biggest tip I have would be, to have a good tripod and make sure you can flip the viewfinder so that you can see yourself. Also good audio is key. Make sure your mic is turned on!”
Here’s some Jules TV tips you can learn from this Video:
- Break up the rhythmn with short bursts of complimentary music.
- Speed up sections to shorten how long the action takes in real time to inject energy and pace.
- Use 2 Radio Mics to get good audio from both you and your guest.
- Use graphics and add zooms to illustrate what you are saying and break up the visuals.
- Have a strong call to action at the end.
