Pimp My Camcorder
As you might have guessed I am a bit of a fan of the Flip Video Camera. It’s a camera that’s pure fun from US company Pure Digital.
I use it as a pocket size camera for recces, casting interviews, home and web videos. It’s called the Flip because it has a USB arm that flips out to connect to your PC or Mac. No leads, just AA batteries and easy one touch recording.
Now Flip have introduced an amazing range of new designs, not only can you select from Pure Digitals’ own designs or upload your own image (like my logo) to be printed on the body.
If you are a designer you can upload a design and earn $10.00 commission for every Flip that is sold with your graphic on it! Surely this has to be the most customisable camcorder ever?
Right now the designs are only available in the US via the FipVideo.com site but hopefully the pimped option will come to Europe soon.
